• Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including emergency services, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery and wound care.

• The Patient Care Tech (PCT) is accountable for providing nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• The PCT must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit and must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to also function as the unit secretary.
• This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to function in an assistive role to provide patient care.
• This individual must also understand the workings of the unit information flow and be able to facilitate this information for the most efficiency possible.
• The PCT will be responsible for activities of patient care which involve activities of daily living.
• He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS (upon hire)
• A minimum of 1 year ER experience preferred
