Responsibilities
Assist coworkers and physicians with performing complex catheterization procedures by monitoring patient's vital signs, interpreting patient status information, and recording all patient information
Performs duties as a scrub assistant and assists team members in retrieving supplies and operating equipment
Educates patients, family members and team when applicable
Accurately processes results, archives images and stocks all inventory
Provides patient care for a population base of all ages included: adolescence, adult and geriatric
Provides performance improvement opportunities through CQI processes
Maintains a sterile and clean work environment at all times
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or related field
Must Possess an ARRT, RCIS or RCES Certification or be registry eligible
A minimum of one (1) year direct experience is preferred
Ability to demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills on a daily basis
